On Friday 30th September CHS South hosted a bake-off to raise money for Macmillan. The theme for the bake-off was multiculturalism, to celebrate all of the wonderful languages and cultures we have in our community. It was a fantastic effort from staff and students, with students showing their creative side by baking treats and cakes representing a variety of different countries and cultures.
We aimed to raise £250 on the day, but a few of our staff agreed to accept a ‘forfeit’ if we managed to raise more… Of course, in true CHS South fashion, everyone got involved and we managed to raise a fantastic £519.02! This means that some of our staff are having a bucket of water thrown over their heads this week as a forfeit (sorry again everyone, but it’s all in the name of charity!
