Dear parents/carers,
Tomorrow, Thursday 22nd September is ‘World Car Free Day’ and CHS South would like our everyone in our community to join us. Selected students will be taking part in a protest, here at school, to spread awareness regarding this cause.
We are asking that students, parents/carers and staff find alternate methods of travel to help reduce the impact cars have on our environment and our children’s safety on their journey to and from school.
Please encourage your child to either use public transport, cycle or walk to school.
For students arriving by bike, we provide a limited number of cycle hoops where bicycles can be locked up securely; it is intended that students use this facility whilst they are in school all day. CHS South encourages a responsible and a pro-active approach to bicycle security within school and the wider community.
