CHS South Receives National Recognition for Pupils’ Success
26th Jan 2026

CHS South is delighted to share that we have received a letter from the Secretary of State for Education, Bridget Phillipson, congratulating our school on the excellent outcomes achieved by our disadvantaged pupils at the end of the 2024/25 academic year.

The letter highlights that our performance places CHS South among the very best nationally and praises the dedication of our staff and the hard work of our pupils. It also encourages the school to share its experience and best practice to help raise standards across the sector.

We are thrilled to receive this recognition from the Secretary of State. It reflects the incredible effort of our pupils and the dedication of our staff. At CHS South, we are committed to giving every child the opportunity to succeed, and this achievement shows what is possible when we come together as a community.

Mr. David Prophet, Headteacher
