CHS South Crowned Manchester U16 Basketball Champions!

CHS South is celebrating an incredible sporting achievement as our U16 basketball team has been crowned Manchester Champions for the 2024–2025 season!

The team sealed the title with a thrilling victory in the final against Manchester Communication Academy, continuing their extraordinary unbeaten run that stretches all the way back to Year 10. Their journey to the top this season has seen them overcome some of the strongest teams in the city, with standout performances and convincing wins against:

• Trinity

• The East Manchester Academy
• St. Bede’s
• Wright Robinson College
• St. Paul’s
• Loreto High School

This win is more than just a trophy - it’s a historic milestone. The U16s have secured CHS South’s first ever Boys Basketball League title, a testament to their skill, resilience, and teamwork.

Mr. Singh shared his pride in the team:
